Light Therapy, also know as chromotherapy or color therapy, uses light and color to improve physical and mental health.
It uses different frequencies and wavelengths to penetrate the skin and stimulate cellular function. With it's red, green, and blue light modes, Light Therapy enhances mitochondrial function which is critical for overall cellular repair.
In addition to reducing inflammation and pain, red light stimulates collagen and has anti-aging properties. Green light can reduce the appearance of dark spots, and may have a positive effect on migraines and light sensitivity, while blue light reduces bacteria and improves the appearance of skin. Using these various modes of light therapy can improve your mood, appearance of skin, and enhance recovery
What to expect
Pre and post
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time
Your session will be 10 minutes
We require our guests to wear flip flops provided by Eastend while in the treatment rooms
It is recommended that you wear light-colored, comfortable clothing during your session
Tea and water will be provided during your rest period. After your light therapy session, you will have 10 minutes of access to our rest area
Water bottles are welcome - stay hydrated!
You may rest, sleep, read or meditate during your session
